OpenSILEX ontologies
This repository contains the domain ontologies used in the OpenSILEX architecture.
The Ontology Experiment on Living Organisms in Agriculture” (ELOA) describes the context of agronomic experiments. It allows assigning types (e.g. Research Organization, Experimental Infrastructure, Environment Type, Genetic Ressource, Physical Object) to objects involved in experiments and defining specialization hierarchy between them according. ELOA contains the main concepts for OpenSILEX application. This ontology should be extend with the research community concepts and application concepts.
The Ontology for Experimental Scientific Objects (OESO) describes the context of life science experiments. It allows assigning types (e.g. Research Organization, Experimental Infrastructure, Environment Type, Genetic Ressource, Physical Object) to objects involved in experiments and defining specialization hierarchy between them according. OESO core contains the main concept for OpenSILEX application. This core ontology should be extend with the research community concepts.
